This book is one of the most recommended books for gay and lesbian people. It is an excellent book aimed at helping people with internal homophobia. Great for all ages! Also good for families and significant others!

The impact of consistent rejection throughout childhood and adulthood impact the development of problems for gay men, such as an obsession with looks, penis size, fat, etc. Many men will identify with this book. It is a real help!

For Parents of Gay, Lesbian or Bisexual Youth/Adults

Extremely important book for parents. Provides information and strategies to under-stand and deal with learning your child's sexual/gender identity.

Great book for parents who have lesbian and gay sons/daughters and want to learn other parent's stories. Very good book! I highly recommend it!

This book is a classic. This is the revised edition on a book that has been passed down to parents for over 20 years! A Must Have!

Another classic that provides reassurance to parents, helps parents understand the different reactions that they may have. Parents have found this book extremely helpful and comforting!

First written in the 1970's, this book has continued to be revised due to its popularity. *NOTE: This is NOT the latest edition. Look for the newest edition 2005.

A humorous collection of stories written by adults looking back to when they were teens. Short story collections. One of my favorites!

Books for Women Married to a Gay or Bisexual Man:

A book for women whose husbands are gay. It is an excellent book for women struggling with this issue!

Written by a psychologist who specializes in "Straight Spouses/ Gay Husbands" she writes a sensitive, healing and educational book to help spouses and families deal with a gay loved one.

Written by a military wife whose husband was leading a double life. She writes an emotional book about her experiences and how she decided to handle things.

Written by men who are gay or bisexual, married and their personal stories about being gay husbands. Great Book for wives and men alike!

A book that is a published study. It was written for Women's Studies through a professional publishing house. Good book for anyone dealing with this issue and professionals.

A book exploring bisexual men, their relationships and marriages. A good book for bisexual men and their wives.
